Which Button Do I Push? A Technological Literacy Curriculum project is to increase the technological, literacy skills of multi-barriered immigrants and refugee women so they are better able to to handle the demands of an ever-changing world around them.This is not only essential for survival but is absolutely impterative as a vehicle of success to full participation in Canadian society. Learning materials and resources are referenced to Canadian Language Benchmarks: Pre-Benchmark to Benchmark 2 as well as the Essential Skills Level 1 and will incluee a comprehensive set of lessons plans/demonstration activities that utilize a holistic, learner-centered approach on adult basic literacy. The project enables foundational learners to receive and manipulate electronic information, as well as make dcisions and perform transactions pertaining to everyday situations (i.e. navigating phone menus, registering online, or performing financial transactions.)
